Activas is designed with your privacy as a top priority. Our goal is to provide you with powerful health insights without compromising your personal data. This policy outlines how we handle your information.
Activas integrates with Apple's HealthKit to read your health data. This data is requested with your explicit permission and may include information about your activity, sleep, nutrition, and vitals. We also request permission to write to your health data if missing data, such as weight or height, is required to provide you with the best insights.
All processing of your health data happens exclusively on your device. The insights generated by the on-device AI are created and stored locally on your iPhone. Your personal health information is never sent to any external server, cloud service, or third party. It never leaves your device.
Activas uses Apple's on-device FoundationModels to analyze your health data. Because this model runs directly on your device, the analysis is performed in a secure, private environment. The content of your health data is not visible to us or any other entity.
We do not share your personal health data with anyone. The app includes a feature to export a PDF report of your dashboard, but this action is initiated entirely by you. You have full control over who you share that report with.
To provide a Home Screen widget experience, Activas saves a small, non-identifiable summary of your daily activity (like step count and active energy) to a secure, shared 'App Group' container on your device. This data is only accessible by the main Activas app and its official widget.
You are in complete control of your data. You can manage which data types Activas has permission to read at any time through the Apple Health app (Sources > Activas). Revoking permissions will prevent the app from accessing that data in the future.
If we update this privacy policy, we will notify you by updating the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this document.
